This portrait of a woman wearing a Venetian Carnival mask remains one of my favourite candid street shots to this date. For a split second, the subject made direct contact with the camera, with the diffused camera flash bringing out the beautiful warm copper and green colours, as well as the details and texture of the mask, as well as the detail of the matching make up around the eyes.Shot on 6th March 2011
